Cloudbeds is a cloud property management system, the software a hotel front desk uses to hold reservations, arrivals, departures, rates and booking sources, and the system HotelCadence reads to forecast demand per department and draft the roster.
How long does a Cloudbeds integration take?
Approving the connection takes about ten minutes in the Cloudbeds dashboard; most of the setup is loading booking history and checking forecasts against your own numbers. The connection is part of onboarding.
Is HotelCadence listed on the Cloudbeds marketplace?
Certification listing is in progress. The connection itself uses Cloudbeds’ standard connection, which only reads and which your administrator approves and can switch off, so nothing about setup depends on the marketplace listing.
Most of our bookings are OTA and short-lead, can you still forecast staffing?
Yes, that is the case the system is built for. OTAs take 77.9% of reservations in Indonesia (Cloudbeds 2026 report) and Southeast Asian lead times are short, so HotelCadence refreshes bookings every 15 minutes and re-forecasts daily. Rosters flag the shifts that stopped matching demand before next week’s spreadsheet is built.
We are an 80-room independent, is HotelCadence too big for us?
No. The subscription is from US$6 per scheduled employee per month, with no long-term contract. An 80-room property mis-staffing 6-12% of its labor line tends to leak more than that in a quarter; the hotel labor savings calculator puts a number on it before you talk to anyone.
We are mid-migration to Cloudbeds, should we wait?
No. We connect as soon as Cloudbeds is live and load history from an export of your previous property system, so forecasts start with years of context. Many properties use onboarding to check the migrated data.
Does HotelCadence write anything back, and where does the data live?
HotelCadence only reads. Rates, reservations and guest profiles in Cloudbeds are never touched. We read counts, dates, rates and booking sources, never guest names or payment details. Data is hosted in your region, with Singapore as the default for Asia-Pacific.
