Your Mews data already knows Thursday will be brutal. Now your roster will too.
Yes, HotelCadence connects to Mews via the open Mews Connector API in under two weeks. A read-only token gives us reservations, pickup, arrivals, occupancy and rate data; we turn that stream into per-department, per-hour demand forecasts and draft rosters your managers approve. Nothing writes back into Mews, and your front desk keeps working exactly as before.

The fastest-growing PMS in APAC deserves better than a flat roster
Mews grew its APAC customer base 16% last year, acquired Clarity Hospitality Software in January 2025 specifically to expand in the region, and passed 1,000 marketplace integrations, hospitality's biggest app store. Hotels chose it for clean, live data. The waste is what happens next: that live reservation stream rarely reaches the person building next week's roster in a spreadsheet.
HotelCadence closes that gap, the Mews stream becomes hotel demand forecasting per department per hour, then a costed draft roster. Labor cost falls 6–12% while the service standard is held, because staff move to when guests actually arrive.
What data does HotelCadence read from Mews?
Five data points, all read-only, all counts and dates, no guest-identifying data is required. This is the complete list; there is nothing else in the scope.

Read-only token · scoped per property · revocable in Mews at any time.
Live in under two weeks, in three steps
Issue a read-only token
Your Mews administrator creates a read-only access token scoped to the pilot properties, a ten-minute task in Mews, not an IT project. You can revoke it at any time.
Backfill and calibrate
HotelCadence pulls up to two years of Mews reservation history and calibrates hourly demand forecasts per department against your own actuals, so the forecast is proven before anyone rosters against it.
Go live and measure
Forecasts refresh as pickup changes, including short-lead OTA bookings, and draft rosters flag shifts that no longer match demand. Managers approve everything. Typically live in under two weeks.
Ho Chi Minh City, 140 rooms: housekeeping finally follows the departure wave
Vietnam led the region with a ~17% RevPAR surge in 2025, and weekend departure waves to match. This lifestyle hotel rostered housekeeping flat at 10 a day: quiet Wednesdays burned paid hours while Saturday's 14-person turn load ran on overtime and late rooms. The departure counts predicting all of it were already in Mews.

Mews integration questions, answered
How long does a Mews integration take?
Under two weeks in most cases. Your Mews administrator issues a read-only token in minutes; the remaining time is backfilling reservation history and calibrating the forecast against your actuals. Integration is included in the 90-day pilot (from US$7,500).
Is HotelCadence certified on the Mews Marketplace?
Certification listing is in progress. HotelCadence connects today through the open Mews Connector API, the same documented, token-scoped mechanism behind the 1,000+ integrations already on the Mews marketplace, so nothing about the connection waits on the listing.
We are mid-migration to Mews, should we wait until it is done?
No. We connect the migrated properties immediately and backfill history from your previous PMS export, so forecasts start with two years of context instead of two weeks. Groups often run the pilot alongside the migration to validate the new data.
Does HotelCadence write anything back into Mews?
No. The token is read-only and nothing is written back, rates, reservations and guest profiles in Mews are never touched. Forecasts and draft rosters live in HotelCadence, where your managers review and approve them.
Where does our data live, and what about guest privacy?
HotelCadence reads counts, dates, rates and segments, no guest-identifying data is needed for forecasting or scheduling. Hosting is in-region, with Singapore as the default APAC residency option.
Mews already shows occupancy reports, what does HotelCadence add?
Mews reports what the house looks like per day. Staffing needs demand per department, per hour: arrivals for the desk, departures for housekeeping, covers for breakfast. HotelCadence builds that layer from the Mews stream and turns it into a costed draft roster.
