Hotel workforce management · Infor HMS integration

AI workforce management for hotels on Infor HMS.

HotelCadence is a workforce management platform for hotels: it reads the reservation data already in Infor HMS (read-only) and turns it into hourly demand forecasts per department and auto-drafted rosters your managers approve. Hotels cut 6–12% of labor cost without cutting guest service — and nothing writes back into Infor HMS.

Worked example

Penang, 380 rooms: three outlets, one dinner wave Infor already saw

A full-service resort rostered its F&B service team flat at ten every evening across three outlets. Midweek dinners idled paid hours while Saturday's thirteen-cover-per-server peak ran on borrowed stewards and slow service. The occupancy and covers pattern predicting it was already in Infor HMS.

Setup

Go live in three steps

Read-only access · counts and dates only, no guest-identifying data · revocable by your Infor administrator at any time.

Step 1

Authorize read-only access

Your Infor administrator authorizes a read-only connection through Infor’s integration framework, scoped to the pilot properties. No screens change for front desk or outlets, this is configuration, not an interface project.

Step 2

Backfill and calibrate

HotelCadence pulls up to two years of Infor HMS reservation history and calibrates daily and hourly demand forecasts per department against your own actuals, so accuracy is proven on your data before anyone rosters against it.

Step 3

Go live and measure

Forecasts refresh as pickup changes and draft rosters flag shifts that no longer match demand. Managers approve everything, and results are measured monthly against your agreed baseline.

Infor HMS integration questions, answered

How long does an Infor HMS integration take?

The gating step is your Infor administrator authorizing read-only access; backfill and forecast calibration run in parallel after that. Integration is included in the 90-day pilot (from US$7,500), and your installation is scoped in the integration audit before any commitment.

Which Infor systems does HotelCadence connect to?

Infor HMS, the cloud hospitality management solution, is the standard connection via Infor’s documented integration APIs. F&B covers can flow from your POS where it is deployed, and older Infor installations are scoped individually in the integration audit.

We run multiple outlets, banquets and a spa, can you staff more than rooms?

Yes, that is the full-service case the system is built for. Occupancy, arrivals and covers drive per-department forecasts: front office, housekeeping, each F&B outlet, stewarding. Every department gets its own hourly demand line and its own draft roster.

Does HotelCadence write anything back into Infor HMS?

No. The connection is read-only and nothing is written back, rates, reservations, profiles and blocks in Infor HMS are never touched. Forecasts and draft rosters live in HotelCadence, where managers review and approve them.

Where does our data live, and what about guest privacy?

HotelCadence needs counts, dates, rates and segments, not guest-identifying data. Hosting is in-region, with Singapore as the default APAC residency and portfolio-specific options for chains of 10 or more properties.

Part of our portfolio runs OPERA Cloud or Shiji, can one rollout cover both?

Yes. Infor HMS properties connect via their read-only feed, OPERA Cloud via OHIP, Shiji via the Enterprise Platform API, and the whole portfolio rolls up into one view with identical per-department, per-hour forecasts and one baseline measurement method.
