How long does a Satin PMS integration take?
Satin PMS is the property management system from Satin Software, the front office software hotels and motels use to hold reservations, arrivals, departures and occupancy, and the system HotelCadence reads to forecast demand per department. Setting up the scheduled exports is a short task; most of the setup is loading booking history and checking the forecast against your own numbers. The connection is part of onboarding, and we confirm how your installation connects before you commit to anything.
Satin runs on-premise at our properties, does that work?
Yes. The connection starts from scheduled exports of the data Satin already holds: reservations, arrivals, departures and occupancy. Where an installation supports a live connection, we switch to it; either way nothing is installed on your front-desk machines beyond the export task.
We are motels, not a resort. Is scheduling software overkill?
Australian weekend and public-holiday penalty rates make motels the opposite of overkill: the most expensive hours on the roster are the ones a flat roster wastes. Matching casual housekeeping and desk hours to the real departure and arrival counts is where the saving shows first.
Does HotelCadence write anything back into Satin?
No. HotelCadence only reads the exports. Rates, reservations and guest details in Satin are never touched. Forecasts and draft rosters live in HotelCadence, where your managers review and approve them.
Where does our data live, and what about guest privacy?
